In Australia, this age group is usually labelled Size 3, Medium, M, or 3 years, although the actual fit can still vary from brand to brand depending on fabric stretch, cut, and style.

As a general guide, Size 3 is designed for children around 3 years old, often suiting little ones weighing approximately 14–16kg and measuring up to about 100cm in height. Because every child grows differently, checking height and weight rather than relying on age alone can help you choose a more comfortable, longer-lasting fit.

At this stage, many children are busy running, climbing, starting kinder or daycare, and becoming more independent with dressing themselves.
