16 Years

By around 16 years old, many teens are well into their final growth stages and often begin moving into adult clothing sizes, depending on their height, build and personal style preferences.

In Australia, this stage may still be labelled Size 16 or 16 years in some brands, although sizing has usually moved completely out of the 'çhild' space and into 'adult' sizing. As a very general guide, this size may suit teens measuring around 165–170cm+ and continuing to grow. At this age, fit and comfort are usually better indicators than age, especially as body shapes and style choices become more individual.
